Welcome … Tavi•Mark•It is an independent publication delivered monthly to homes and businesses in Tavistock and the surrounding area. It is delivered door to door, which means readers don't have to rely on picking the magazine up in a local shop, they have the convenience of having it delivered straight to their door every month ... and what's more - it's FREE !
The magazine is A5 in size, printed in an environmentally friendly way in full colour, on high gloss re-cycled paper and contains a wide range of advertisements from local businesses as well as regular articles, editorials, puzzles and local information and events. The aim of the magazine is to help local businesses grow and to make local residents aware of all the local businesses and services available within our surrounding area. Generally people prefer to use the services of a local business but are often unaware that they may have a plumber who lives round the corner or an electrician just down the road.
Many small businesses can't afford to advertise in larger publications or newspapers but our magazine is very cost effective. A longer term contract is recommended to build awareness of your business. The more people that see your advert the more you become the first to contact as and when readers need that particular service. Additional discounts are available for longer term bookings. Community and non-profit making events will be included FREE subject to availability of space.

Started in May 2010 and targeting the Local Community the magazine is owned by Stuart Moir. Tavi•Mark•It is an independent publication providing comprehensive advertising across the PL19, West Devon region with local businesses and individuals reaching the community with an A5 magazine with a readership of over 18,000 delivered free each month door to door in the following residential areas. Tavistock, Mary Tavy and also Peter Tavy, Lamerton along with Lifton, Yelverton, Princetown, Okehampton and St Ann’s Chapel and also to businesses in Plymouth and to the South Hams.
This distribution also takes in hairdressers, shops, cafe’s and bars, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, garages, information desks and also vets and doctors. We provide full listings of both one off and recurring events and useful phone numbers. We also print puzzle pages for both adults and children. Our find Sir Francis competition and editorials of local interest are particularly well met by our readership. Our regular gardening and nature feature by John Ladlow is looked forward to by all. Our aim is to provide an entertaining magazine that allows businesses to promote themselves cost effectively within the local community. This glossy, topical magazine is an exciting alternative to monochrome local papers, but is cheaper than most of them, therefore allowing the affordability to advertise on a monthly basis and the opportunity to build a significant local profile.
